I know I haven't been around in awhile, but I still lurk around sometimes. I have been going through a lot in the last couple of years and needed to take care of myself.
I was given a 100 year old cedar hope chest, from my Grandmother. So, I needed to get it up to the rest of my stuff, that I intend to bring over to WA next year. ROAD TRIP!!!
So, from Mom's in Florida, up to Ripley, WV. I tagged Nightgame and asked if she would mind me dropping by for a visit. I think she was more excited that I was. "MIND???!?!?! GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!!!!!" From Ripley, WV, I went over to Kentucky, to meet what I call the Kentucky Contingency or KC. When all else fails, the girls over in Kentucky can take care of it.
So, I got to meet Nightgame, Vampirewitch and Elemental. We went to dinner, where VW kept staring at my eyes. She insists she has never seen anyone with my almond shaped eyes and was considering what to do to them. Unfortunately, with a winter storm coming in, I had to get going before I was stranded. I hated to leave, because I relaxed, laughed and it was wonderful to finally meet these incredible ladies.
I will attest to one thing. The personalities that come across online, is only a percentage that they actually are. They are fun to watch as they quibble and tease each other and I was honored to be in their presence. Next time, I will bring LordV and get RedQueen there at the same time. Then it will be a party!
